  • 1.  Aatrix Payroll error Viewer Error "Error Initializing"

    2021.2 upgrade and every single workstation AND the server gets "Error Initializing" in a Viewer Error after briefly starting to process any payroll form. Sage shows a similar error, but not exact.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled and installed for the first time (on someone who does not do payroll and never has) and still getting the error.  (Have also manually installed the update instead of doing via Sage, still no go.)

    Anyone else seen this exact same error and have a fix?  Waiting on a call back from Sage.

    Mine works fine.....  Knock on wood but maybe it is because I don't need it to work today.  The more important question is what version of PR are you running?  What quarter are you running it for?

    I had this error trying to run Aatrix - maybe not your issue but you might need this fix if you're on 2021.2
    When updating Aatrix, got error 88 Invalid\Unknown Property name program CI_EFilingCommon.pvc line 200. This was supposed to be fixed in 2021 PU2. Sage KB 110992 lists a bunch of stuff like uninstall/reinstall Aatrix - but this doesn't fix. The fix is to copy AESCrypto.dll from the server's C:\ProgramData\Sage\Common Components folder to the workstations C:\ProgramData\Sage\Common Components folder. C:\ProgramData is a hidden folder but you can access by just typing in C:\ProgramData in Windows File Explorer. Sage is aware of the issue.
