  • 1.  AAtrix issue again - hangs on Connecting

    This has been reported by 1 client and I was doing 1099s with another - get to the Connecting and it hangs.  The client I was with successfully did her W2s a couple days ago and connected fine.  I suspect a new issue...

    Taking inquiries now although quite candidly the extent of  95% of my customer's error reporting is writing me with  (a) HELP or (b) HELP AATRIX - so I'm having trouble getting to exactly what trouble they are reporting.

    One customer said that they tried uploading their final eFiling and received a timeout error. Then they reported that it worked (and they received an acknowledgement) when they tried again a few minutes later.

    I called Aatrix this morning because I was trying to do filings with it stuck on the "Connecting to Aatrix" message, and they told me they were having problems with a server, and we couldn't submit anything.  But to try again within an hour, and it should be back up.  But - it has been about 4 hours now, and it sounds like they're still having issues.

    Yep, I have 3 confirmed no-gos today.  I called someone who had to make a change on a 1099 and then realized that was an exercise in futility and told her I'd call back tomorrow (fingers crossed).

    Is there a status link to show if Aatrix is having a service interruption? I tried looking online and there doesn't seem to be a URL to a site that shows the current service status.

    I don't know if this is related but I have at least 3 installs where Aatrix is not "Activated" and when I select the "Activate" button it looks like it's going through the motions but doesn't complete the process.  It's like the system is stuck in "Demo" mode.  I have installed the IRD and two of the systems but the third is still Sage 100 2021.

    I have even downloaded the latest MAS90 updates from Aatrix and still no joy.

    @Chuck Peddy - almost all of my more recent upgrades say DEMO at first, but then if I continue into it and get out and back in, it's fine.  Apparently just creating that extra record in the efiling file.

    I have a cloud install I can't update, though.  Keeps saying it needs to update, even though I've updated on the server, then looks for the wrong path when trying to update of the user's connection.

    Man, lots of fun with filing this year!
