  • 1.  Aatrix failure to make payment

    Have a client with their email confirmation from Aatrix that says Aatrix will make this payment on 7/20 - and it never got made.
    Aatrix says tough crunchies.
    Anyone know a higher up that can at least get bitched to, to make the client feel better?

    This was a 22K payment and client is looking at thousands in late penalties.

    Higher than Bruce Senti?  Maybe find someone at Sage who has a little muscle to flex (good luck though).

    What was the reason for the miss?  Would seem to me, if you advertise a service and collect a fee, that you would own the screw ups.  What good is the service if they weasel out? 

    Back in the day, I E-Filed w-2's two days late for a client.  Six months later, the IRS letter appeared.  They wanted a $5K late filing penalty.  I spent $500 on a former IRS lawyer to make the problem go away.  I didn't dare tell my client "tough crunchies".  I did the right thing.  And the next year, I stopped doing W-2 processing/E-Filing for clients.  Been using Aatrix ever since.

    Time to take it to the mattresses.

    Not sure if he is still there.  He was the face of Aatrix at Summit.  He also attended several MOTM conferences.  He wore the outlandish trousers.
