    Aatrix 1099 filing, v2014. Client has been an the acquisition trail and now has three Sage 100 companies with the same FEIN. Question came up as to how to file their 1099's - three different submissions or use the Aatrix utility to consolidate them? Has anyone used the Aatrix consolidated filing feature? If so, how does it work? I find it hard to believe that this would be a first for the IRS (receive separate filings). Thanks in advance.

    We've used it for W2 consolidations but we printed the W2's from the three separate companies first and then merged them to do the e-filing otherwise, it will use the company information of the company you are in for ALL of the W2's/1099's. It's a little tricky as you have to go in to each company and say you use more than one company in order for it to save the data for that particular company. Then in the final company, say you use more than one company and you can select the files from the other companies.

    This seems to have worked for client. They are making one last review before sending it off. Awesome!!
