  • 1.  Aatrix 1095-C/1094-C not populating

    Aatrix is not populating the employees for the 1095-C/1094-C reports.

    The W-2 and W-3 worked but the 1095 keeps coming up with 0 employees and the database is filled out.

    Has anyone else seen this?

    @Beth Bowers, do you have any clue?

    One of our consultants is having this issue with one of our customers. I do not believe that there has been a resolution. So all that I can do is to acknowledge your pain.

    Make sure you have an Employer record created for that year. Sometimes you have to change something, Accept, change it back and Accept. 

    Also, make sure the Employee records were created for that year. It is easy for a user to accidentally create them for the current year instead of last year. 

    Check these from the Payroll>ACA menu.

    Go into the ACA menu. Choose ACA Employer Maintenance. Pull up the record for 2024.  Switch the value in the ACA Forms to Use field and Save it.  Then go back into the record and change it back to the original value and save again. I usually rerun the ACA Large Employer Report and update again. Then go back into Aatrix and run the ACA form again.

    We had actually tried each of the steps listed without success a few times.  We just did all steps again in the EXACT order above and it appears to have worked.  The trigger seems to have been changing the forms to use fields, going out and back in and saving the correct forms info.  The last step before Aatrix attempt was to rerun the ACA Large Employer again and update.  Thank you!

    We have found the answer.  

    The ACA Form to Use field is blank in the PR_ACAEmployer file.  I edited this field using DFDM and now it's working.

    The reports apparently did not fill this field.

    I have made this part of my routine for clients with ACA reporting.  Without even having them test it, I pull up the Employer screen, change something, save it, and then pull it up and change it back.  It takes too long to load to see if this will be the year it works without it, especially when it takes 5 seconds to do the fix.

    @Beth Bowers – that's EXACTLY what I do.  Don't mess around hoping that it will work without doing that in the Employer Screen, because chances are VERY high that it won't.  You'd think that would be fixed after all these years, but alas...nope!
