    A user, Sage 100 Standard v2014.5, has a number of General Alias Items where he wants to change the name/description of the ALIAS. Can this be done with a VI job? It would appear that if you create an import for a General Alias that it's going to create another alias (leaving the original still in place) since you can have multiple general alias items. Is the only VI option to export the whole Alias Item table out - change - then re-import?

    Chatting about this with @RobertWood and he pointed out that so long as the alias item number is imported that we should be able to update the description which makes sense. The key is ItemNo, AliasItemNo, Type. Those three together should allow the updating of an existing description without creating a new record.
