A question on the new licensing rules: if a customer has EES (where they shared licenses between CRM and MAS), and they upgrade to version 4.5, do they continue to share the licenses between MAS and CRM (so no more than X number of users can log in at one time) or do they now have X seats for CRM and X seats for MAS? I have a client who is interested in adding some more users, but a dual-use license (CRM+MAS) is no longer an option (or at least that's what we've been told), so to add a new user to both CRM and MAS is $3,500. #Licensing #SageCRM #mas90

I only know what Sage will tell me and they can't even tell what pricing will be for existing users come April 1 - So sad................

My understanding is the new 4.5 gives one single free seat of CRM. I believe for a period of time Sage was offering cut rate licenses during the transition from EES to MAS? I have not however sold any though that opportunity in 2012 will likely arise. WAG
