A customer on MAS200, version 4.50.7, has suddenly started getting corrupt files today. The first was error 105 on PL_JournalPDFLog.m4t. I just repaired it with UFAR, and now they're getting an error 106 on SO_InvoiceHeader and can't enter invoices. I have no idea what's causing files to corrupt. I've been holding for Sage for 25 minutes now.

Check System Error log for disk errors on server. New AV update? Anyone report getting disconnected?

Run out of file space? (Just had this happen to a client, so top of my mind.)

Could be a bad network card in the server or one of the workstations sending broadcast messages. As Phil mentioned check the activity logs.

I had a situation this morning totally puzzling and unfounded. It appears the trigger had to do with the Time out issue and the PEP program. The notice Sage sent out last night around 7pm Pacific ""Resolved Temporary time out issue or .."". Users say Started yesterday with slowness and blew up first thing on them this morning with corrupt files and ghost sessions when trying to log in and run tasks. (Humm, )

Did the PEP virus exist in 4.5?

PEP. Sounds like a data corruption AKA network card. Everyone or just the one person????

I just finished repairing files, and it was time-consuming, which is why I haven't posted back, but I did read all your comments. They haven't run out of disk space, and I believe the original problem was created by one user only, who was trying to update the sales journal. Subsequently, no one could update because the PL_JournalPDFLog file was corrupt, and I believe the SO_InvoiceHeader file got corrupted at the same this morning as the PL file. The activity log only showed 105 and 106 errors from this morning. No disconnects, or AV, at least not that anyone admits to. I have turned off PEP and followed the recommended procedure. We'll see what happens now. Thank you all for your quick responses. You guys are the best!
