A customer on MAS 90 with JobOps recently upgraded from 4.30 to 4.40, and ever since the upgrade the performance in RMA has been very sluggish. They also report ""missing item"" errors (have not got the exact error message yet) in RMA Receiving. I have rebuilt the files (key & sort). No errors were reported by the key rebuild, and performance did not improve. Has anyone else experienced this in 4.4 RMA?

Phil - What release of JobOps? The most current is 4.40 R2M, and unfortunately there was two (2) releases of this with the same file name.

It is 4.40.06 with the other brother R2M (the second one).

Got the issue with the ""not on file"" in RMA Inquiry pinned down as to symptom: when you select an RMA from the lookup, it tries to feed the RMA number and the line number, which of course results in an RMA number which is not on file. Now to start the fun part of sorting out whose bug it is...

Sage's idea was rename sy1q files and reinstall MAS 90. Did not change the misbehavior of the RMA Inquiry lookup. Anyone have any ideas?

For the other JobOps folks in the group: After much back and forth and staring at file dates, the problem has been traced to a JobOps bug in SY_LOOKUP.M4P that occurs if the RMA number starts with a letter and is less than 7 characters long.
