A customer just pulled an email out of their junk box that appears to come from Sage Payment Solutions. Below is the body of the message. Does anyone know if this legit or spam? As you may have heard, a $7.2 billion class action settlement has been reached with Visa and MasterCard. You may be eligible to file a claim and receive settlement funds if, during the period between 2004 and present, you accepted Visa and MasterCard for payment. In our ongoing effort to assist our customers, Sage has partnered with Refund Recovery Services* to assist merchants like you to receive your share of the settlement money if you are eligible. As a potential class member, you have the option to file a claim on your own. I think it's legit, but if you read the fine print Refund Recovery Services takes 25% of whatever they get for you and you have to provide them with the amount of credit card fees you paid. Do you think Sage is getting a rebate back from them??

@DianaLaughner , Where did you get the 25%? I don't see 25% mentioned in the document.

In the body of the email there is a link to the Refund Recovery Services documentation, it's listed there in their document.
