A client wants to have the SO promise date field locked after the promise date is set. They're a manufacturer and use the promise date for scheduling. Alnoor helped me write a bit of script to auto-set the ship date (which becomes the default promise date) to 12/31/2029 on a new order. So I guess what I want to know is can a field be locked if the value is not null and is not 12/31/2029?
