A client just asked me if there is a way to create a pop up memo or other alert when an AR customer goes over 60 days. Does anyone have a creative idea?

Not sure when and where you would want to see the pop-up notice but this seems like the perfect use of a KnowledgeSync Alert to me.

scripting should be able to do this - The are customer master has the buckets possibly for over 60 days.

It really does depend on when and where they want to see it. You could create a pop up with scripting or use a tool like KnowledgeSync to send out notifications.

I agree @JohnnyPabian scripting could be easily used but you'd have to just wander upon the customer to get the message. Either pulling them up in customer maintenance or entering and order or invoice for them. Seems a little random to me.

Keep in mind that depending on your settings the customer's aging may not always be up to date. You would need to automate running the AR aging or the AR sort rebuilds, or create your own aging query in KS.

Could the ""Aging Category for Credit Limit Exceeded Warning"" setting do what your customer wants?

KS is a great solution, but the poor man's tool may be a simple BIE of the Customer listing. Something that can be open all day and refreshed now and again.
