I noticed that
@Jeff Schwenk posted on a Sage forum (Edit from original post: This was a post from Big Louie not Jeff, Sorry Jeff) a note saying "
If you are looking for people to do modifications and support then 90Minds.Com is a good place to start". I was thinking that this was a great response and a great way to get more out of being a 90minder. Which made we go look at 90minds.com, without logging in, and noticed that there is no way for someone to go to that site and try to find someone to help them with support or modifications (other than the contact us link to an email
findamind@90minds.com).
So the question is, is it expected to have this site provide references to 90mind members within an area that end users may want to connect to? As it is, only members know who the members are or where they are located. You would have to look at each members website to see if they reference 90minds to know they are on it and even then they may or may not be current with membership.
Just trying to make sure I know what the expectations are for the 90minds website. I understand it is a member-only community but is the site used to help end users find members? or is it to help bring in more consultants/resellers/ISVs to the community? Or is it just a place to have our forum to communicate (like this post, BTW I really like the forum) Either way, website isn't telling anyone what its purpose is. You can see the limited blogs that members have posted, Events related to 90minds, our Tweets, terms and conditions, contact us (email link) and Help/FAQ.
Don't get me wrong. I am NOT complaining. Just trying to understand the expectations we, as a group, have of the website and if anything needs to be changed to make that expectation known.
