Since I may be absent tomorrow, below are my comments.
**Regarding Darcy's** involvement with the affiliate program, I am unsure about the word compensation. We don't compensate ANY other committee member for any volunteer work. IMHO, Darcy needs us more than we need her. I feel she should remain a volunteer for the time being. We do need to figure out how she can remain a member as technically she does not meet the requirements presently. Others in her situation have had their membership terminated upon leaving their company's employment.
**Membership drive contest** - What is this, how is it being measured, who is eligible, is there a minimum threshold to be eligible to win, what are the desired outcomes, etc.? Need details before making a decision.
**Membership Hybrids** - Do we have an old definition? We normally let them join as consultant members. What would the hybrid definition be? Does this need to be outlined in the By-Laws? If we do develop a hybrid membership, the devil is in the details. Would any master developer be a hybrid? Would they join as hybrid as a company but would individuals (who are current members) be reclassified as hybrid? What are thoughts regarding dues structure? Who currently might fall into this category? Need to be careful in our thought process to avoid unintended consequences
**2016 tax return** - As noted, the most recent draft of the return has been posted for review. Very similar to last year's. I would like to submit it by the 8/15 deadline to avoid filing another extension.
**YTD Financials** - They are self explanatory. We currently have about 190K in cash. AR has nearly 4K outstanding for Summit Social hour reimbursement (I-BN and APS). Not sure if we have any more travel expenses that will be submitted. Our monthly cash outlays run 4K a month (Jeff, Robert and Moira). Invoices for annual membership will start in late August. At this juncture, I am unaware of any need for modifying the annual fees. Last year, dues collected during the renewal period totaled 49K (which basically cover Jeff, Robert and Moira's annual expense).
