90 Minds Roundtable - Sage Live Our first collaboration event with Sage. - Please note there are two calls, choose one, either Oct. 16 or Oct. 27 both Noon Eastern. It was incorrectly listed as Oct. 16 or 17th on the invite. The invite has been updated to reflect the correct dates.

FYI, invite states second date is 10/17, but Outlook calendar says it's 10/27.

@JerryNorman great Sage decides to update YouTube. We'll have to find another one to use. Anyone that wants to sign up just complete the quiz without the video and will make sure you are registered. Don't worry about the score.

Just finished today's round table. I learned a lot about the possible business opportunity with Sage Live. If you missed today's, I think will benefits from the next one, 10/27, whether you are really interested in this product or not.

i planned to go today, but my cusotmers had other ideas... Will try to attend the next!

We had a great call today and thank you to the many participants. A follow-up recap call for all attendees is planned for November. In the meantime, I'm expecting a slide deck/info doc on the changes that were made to the SPP (Sage Partner Program) and how the Sage Live partner program has evolved. One big item to note from today's call - Sage Live now includes the equivalent of an NFR for certified partners.

Reminder - the recap call starts soon.

During the recap call today, Regina Crowshaw of Sage emphasized that Sage 100 and Sage 300 are still active and important products to Sage. Sage is aware they have 'blown-it' in some regards and is acknowledging when and where they have made mistakes at least in this call about Sage Live program. We were candid in our conversations with Sage. I was impressed with their candor in return. All in all this was a good experience for both sides. I'd like to hear from the others on the various calls about their impressions and feedback.

Kinda sad that after THREE **PLUS** years, they are still playing the ""we made mistakes"" excuse card. Same song, just a different newbie up in front. Sage's version of Ground Hog day. But in the movie, Bill Murray work up every day and changed his behavior based on what he learned the prior day. Is Sage learning anything??

+1 @JeffSchwenk - although I disagree with Jeff's timeframe. It has been far more than 3 years that we've been hearing the ""we have to do better"".

Yes, past is prologue, or at least the base Bayesian prediction. That said, I think Sage might be on to something with this - a 180 for me. Sage doesn't see Sage Live as a replacement for 100/300. Rather, it is aimed a substantial segment which Sage hasn't much addressed in the past: services based companies with substantial need for mobility. @JohnHoyt made some surprising and cogent observations about his experience with this todate.

It is indeed more but I was just being subtle. To me, it was the first Sage MOTM presentation when the crowd got a little surly with Mike Ritchie (?). It has been longer. There is still a revolving door in Atlanta with little substantial to show for the newbie efforts. I can see this coming up in March when Sage does their presentation.
