    90 Minds Intacct Committee

    Meeting Assets & Summary

Meeting assets for the most recent 90 Minds Intacct Committee Meeting are now available. Thank you to everyone who participated in a thoughtful and forward-looking discussion focused on community growth, professional standards, and conference planning.

    Meeting Summary

    Quick Recap

The committee reviewed updates on the continued growth of the Intacct community and discussed ongoing efforts to strengthen member engagement and professional conduct. Conversations included partner relationships, ethical considerations, and the complexities of customer transitions between partners.

The group also explored the evolving role of AI in consulting and how it may shape Intacct project delivery, advisory services, and client expectations.

Preparations for the upcoming Meeting of the Minds conference were a major focus, including session planning, logistics, hotel availability, and ensuring high-value content for both Sage Intacct and Sage 100 consultants.

    Key Discussion Highlights

    Intacct Community Growth & Engagement

    • The Intacct community currently stands at 36 members, with a goal of reaching 75–100 members by year-end.

    • Focus remains on onboarding new members effectively and ensuring access to community tools and committee groups.

    • Professional conduct and community standards were discussed, with an emphasis on addressing issues early and constructively.

    • Committee leadership roles (including a potential chairperson) were encouraged to support sustainable growth.

    Partner Transitions & Ethics

    • Partner-to-partner transitions in Intacct were discussed as complex and relatively rare, requiring Sage approval and revenue-sharing agreements.

    • Ethical considerations around quoting, customer requests, and partner coordination were emphasized.

    • The importance of maintaining trust, transparency, and alignment with Sage processes was reinforced.

Conference Planning: Meeting of the Minds

    • Review of Intacct-specific sessions, including roundtables and the "Ask Sage Anything" session.

    • Discussion around a possible Intacct-only breakout session.

    • Planning began for a dual authorization panel highlighting consultants working across Sage Intacct and Sage 100.

    • Additional hotel rooms have been secured due to strong registration momentum.

    • Mobile app launch is expected soon to support attendee engagement and scheduling.

Consulting Career Development & Dual Authorization

    • The committee discussed how Intacct consulting differs from Sage 100 in terms of advisory focus, transformation work, and skill sets.

    • Dual authorization was highlighted as an important professional development path.

    • A panel discussion was proposed to explore real-world experiences, decision points, and skills development across products.

    AI in Intacct Consulting

    • AI was discussed as a tool for project management, implementation efficiency, and advisory work.

    • The upcoming roundtable will focus on peer-to-peer sharing rather than expert presentations.

    • Ethical considerations and realistic expectations around AI adoption were noted as important themes for future sessions.
