Anne, Board Members, Fellow 90Minders.

Am I the only one to miss the BOD election message sent last week on 3/3 (found in my spam folder today, content below) or perhaps the one sent on 2/24 forwarded to me by another member who mentioned in a chat that there was barely enough time on the 24th when that one was received?  If I missed it, I wonder how many others were unaware of this IMPORTANT EVENT?????

Last year, there was a reminder posted about the email link, but in searching for one this year on the forum, I found nothing!!!!

I know there isn't a perfect solution, but can we at least agree to post reminders EVERY year on the respective community forum?

I am also requesting that voting be reopened until THURSDAY (3/9) so that the ballot link can be located and our votes cast.  EVERY vote is important (at least in blue states, that is).

The ballots were sent individually to each member and identified by each email address for security and privacy.  It shows me it was sent to you (and reminders) with no rejection. 

Since Meeting the Minds convenes tomorrow, there will be an official announcement at the conference.  I am sorry you will not be there again this year.  It is worth noting, this was not a contested election.

Unfortunately, though they were individually marked and delivered, unless members were made aware via another email (or this forum as was done last year) how do you really know who was notified and who's email went directly to the spam folder?  I am surely not the only one getting hundreds of spam message a day.  Who has the time?  Why wasn't there any public notice?  The email forwarded to me from the 24th said the deadline was the 24th.  The one I found in my spam folder from the 3rd said the voting deadline was the 3rd.  What was the correct messaging?   Where was the HL communication about who was being nominated?  I searched and could not find anything?  How is this important communication being delivered?  Isn't it troubling that only 25% of the membership participated?  These are the questions worth noting!!!!  IMHO, member communication was ineffective.
