    Hi All,

Here is an odd question.   I programmer working with a client that is still on 4.40 (tons of custom programming - we don't directly support them). said he wants to connect to the data via a python script to a program called Cabinet Vision 2021.  The SQL server used by the program is 64bit.    Would the 64bit ODBC driver that is available with the newer versions work with 4.40?    I would suspect not but that is just a guess.   Does anyone know??    This would be a very weird thing for someone to have tested.

It might work, but I'd be concerned with licensing.

Installing a 32-bit version of SQL Express, with Linked Server in that SQL Express to act as a bridge to the v4.40 data, should work in theory (since 64-bit SQL can query a 32-bit SQL instance...).

Thanks @Kevin Moyes  I will pass it along - sounds like a workable solution.
