5.1 premium. One user enters his user name and password, the splash screen appears, and then nothing happens. My first thought was to rename SY_Workstation.m4t and SY_Console.m4t. if that didn't solve it then rename Locate.pvk and Sessions.pvk. Renaming these files requires everyone to be out of Sage 100. This company has people logged in all hours and it is very difficult to shut down the server or get everyone out of Sage... unless this is the only option. Does anyone know if I am on the right track here? Is there a different solution? .

Have you confirmed proper permissions to the MAS90 folder/SQL database? and Role?

Yes,also, longtime company employee and user of Sage 100. Talked to the It Director and nothing on the network has recently changed.

in addition, I am able to long on to Sage 100 using my Sage 100 user name and password while logged into the network with the users credentials from the users computer. It is Sage 100 user name related. I created a new user name and assigned the same roles for him. This is supposed to be temporary until I find the solution... IT doesn't like creating new user names. They asked me to resolve the issue with his ""old"" user name..... So I am going to do unlimited research when the issue can be resolved with a work around in five minutes. :-)

New Sage user was my next suggestion. Sounds like you are going to have to rename the files.

Another quick fix (possibly): rename the workstation. If it's bad data in the system files, that might ignore the old values and write new ones.
