5.1 Premium - Cant get a UDF validation list to work. When the list of valid values is added, and the value is entered in the field during sales order entry, a message displays that the value is not valid.

Have you tried to delete and start over? What about using a UDT? Much more elegant and easy to change values.

On your screenshot I can't tell for sure but it looks like the first validated value has blanks in it? I like UDTs better too. Besides what Jeff said, validation directly from M4L / LIB file has limitation of 1,024 bytes (you're clearly well below that).

Thank to both of you for the info. I have tried without the blank line, just putting one of the selections in, and several other iterations with no luck. I haven't tried deleting the UDF and re-adding it yet. That frightens me a bit. I am going to try adding a UDT with the variables and linking it to the UDF validation.

If you did a copy / paste of the list from Excel, I've had issues with invisible characters being inserted, causing all sorts of problems. Be sure to type the list in manually.
