4.4.7 receive the following error when trying to update the GL Transaction Journal BR Transaction not found followed by Error 12 GL_TransactionJournal_upd line 377 Thanks for any help!

It looks like the program is reading BR_Transaction. Try rebuilding the BR_Transaction.M4T file and B/R sort files.

The program is trying to open BR_Transaction.m4T file. Check your BRccc folder and check that file for errors.

I tried to rebuild the sort files and got the following: File XXXXX not found and then error 12 BRZUZA line 0034, now when I look the MAS_XXX in DFDM the BRXXX folder is gone (it was there before I could view the transction journal) and I get the folloiwng when I try to access Bank Rec - Error 12 SY_Session.pvc line 2550

The BRZUZA is attempting to read BR_Transaction.M4T. Sounds like it is missing! Use Windows Explorer and verify the folder with the files exist, if not - something deleted the files, which may need to be restored.

You'll want to rebuild key-files for BR_Transaction.m4T

If the rebuild key-files doesn't work - then retrieve that file from backup, or re-initialize (lose all data, but fix file) that file.

When I go to rebuild the key files nothing appears, even before I tried to rebuild the sorts which made the entire BRXXX folder disappear. The client is restoring from back up now.
