40% off most migrations. Wonder if this counts as new revenue?

Does the fact that migration to Sage 500 ERP does not qualify say something?

I sense Sage is going to make another flip flop on 500 during Summit

Note that this includes PFW and Pro customers. The upgrade promotions for those products had expired and there were not options until now.

This should count as a new sale.

My sense is that there's a big enough base of companies limping along on old software that Sage does not want to fully shut the door on them. I bet there are 200-1000 active 3.71 users. Possibly more.

Do any of you still have 3.71 active users? We have none but we are just now getting our 4.05 customers upgraded.

We have one active customer on 3.71 (by active I mean paying but not necessarily engaging). I know of a second install that was on 3.71 when we last checked.

I run into maybe a dozen a year. Exactly none appear willing to pay anything for maintenance or consulting. The prevailing attitude is they're going to ride their version to the end. Quite a few seems to be very old school companies though I've only been onsite for a tiny handful and for those I usually can't see through the cigarette haze in their offices.
