    3.71 upgrade to v2017 - Error 13 program SY_ConversionCommon.pvc Line 61 - ...SY0DD2.SOA does not have the correct permissions. Occurring during a company conversion. Any thoughts????

    Isn't that an ALE file? Do you have a clean one from another 3.71 install to try and replace it with?

    Here is what I did. Of the three companies, each threw an error similar to this one. So I pulled the data files over to my server install and converted them locally on v2016. NO issues. Copied them back finished the v2017 install. So far, so good. Knock on wood.

    Happened again when I did the final conversion. I think there is another post describing a similar issue migrating v3.71 to v2017. I wonder if there is a bug out there? Moral of the story is to convert to v2016, THEN to v2017.......
