@Doug Higgs, should have mentioned that I did set the compatibility to XP sp2. @Wayne Schulz I will suggest this. They did not show me the computers that do work (they have 3 that do and 2 that do not).
@Alnoor Cassim I will have them try the lookups (to be 100% clear, the issue is that when they click the magnifying glass, the screen comes up and closes in about 1-2 seconds) in a sample company, but as they work on other computers, not sure it is the company data that is the issue. I am wondering if there is an ALE issue that could be tied to their FID ID, I was looking at the TSRG and did not see anything obvious. Could a corrupt sy0ctl file/records cause the issue? One other sort of odd thing, they have no users setup.

Bob - Setting to Windows 7 or earlier compatibility mode on the Mas90 shortcut is a good idea. On 3.x if the screen resolution was "too high" it guaranteed that doing a Preview from any report from any Reports menu (which were not Crystal reports back then b/c those were on the Custom Reports menu) would error out. Verify that happens here and assuming that is a show stopper, lower the screen resolution to 1024x768 temporarily, and once it works keep setting it higher until it breaks again. One you have the highest resolution set, which they will scoff at, try the ALE lookups. If it still doesn't work but the lookups work in say ABC or any other small company, then contact me.
