  • 1.  32 to 64 bit switch and CSODBC

    We have a client on 32-bit Sage 100 Advanced v2024.  I'm planning on performing the 32 to 64-bit switch.  I already know I will need to uninstall & reinstall the Sage 100 service, but not sure if any action is required regarding CSODBC.

    I don't think I've seen official documentation for this specifically, but I'd assume you have to uninstall / re-install the CSODBC.

    I doubt it matters.  32-bit and 64-bit ODBC has been working for more than a decade, and the service doesn't care about what the clients are running as.  The CS-ODBC service runs independently from the Sage service.
