32->64-bit utility was successful, but path to newly created service still points to pvxwin32.exe

I followed the Sage KB instructions.  Logged in as THE admin.  No errors. Have I missed something?

Uninstalled, rebooted, created new service.  Also tried starting up App Server manually, then created service.

@Barbara Goldstein - you'll need to uninstall and then reinstall the service

I did that.  Here's what I'm seeing now.

This is what my 64 bit service looks like as well

That makes no sense to me.  Just sayin'.

Even more confusing, both of these tasks are running at the server with no users logged in.

In reviewing a new install of 64-bit Premium v2024 (it was 64-bit to begin with instead of using the 32 to 64-bit switch utility), the Sage service was running using pvxwin32.exe. Also all the shortcuts for Application Server Configuration, etc were also created using pvxwin32.exe.

Did you check to see if the "pvxwin32.exe" was technically 32-bit or 64-bit?

Very odd.  Perhaps Sage did some programming changes after the initial release to avoid this extra step:

I had this same experience yesterday and called Sage; they said with v2024 it invokes pvxwin32.exe first, which then invokes pvxwin64.exe.  This was also a 64-bit install from the outset.

Thanks for the update @Susan Pawlowic!  It would be nice if Sage documented this . . .

Wondering if Sage has documented this as of yet?

    …invokes pvxwin32.exe first, which then invokes pvxwin64.exe
