I just upgraded a customer from 2022.5 to 2024.3. If they enter a work ticket number that has already been used, they correctly get the message "You cannot reuse a Work Ticket Number that exists in history". When they click OK and then if they enter the same WT # again, it acts like it will create a new WT with this same number. This is a problem!
If the Accept button is clicked, it appears to create a 'new' work ticket that is not associated with the one in history. If the Delete button is then clicked, it responds "Cannot delete Work Ticket when cost activity exists", so it obviously finds the original ticket information.
I tested this in v2022 and it did NOT do this.
I tested this behavior at another customer site in v2024 and it is also misbehaving. Has anyone else encountered this?
