I hope you all are surviving your week. We have moved into the final negotiation stage for our Board Retreat.
The selected location:
Margaritaville Palm Springs
Because we have scheduled our next two conferences at this property, they were the most competitive proposal we received. We looked at properties in Denver, Nashville, and Louisville as well. But this bid is the best and I believe Mark will take very good care of all of us.
Some highlights:
No meeting room charges
20% Discount on AV
The room rate is $199 per night (all junior suites)
$1500 F&B Minimum (still negotiating)
There are residual benefits as well. The Board spending time at the property may actually generate some fun ideas for next year and give you all the logistics and feel of everything.
The tentative schedule would be:
Wednesday, September 27th: Arrive to Palm Springs, Casual Dinner
Thursday, September 28th: Activities in Palm Springs with the 2023 Board
Friday, September 29th: All Day Meeting Retreat and Dinner
Saturday, September 30th: Half Day Session followed by closing lunch
