    Not sure who has installed update 1 for 2021, but we have experienced various issues from struggles with paperless and custom office on Std and Advanced to failure of Premium migrations altogether.
    On the migration, we would start the migration and pretty quickly throw a  "Error: ALTER DATABASE failed because a lock could not be placed on database 'MAS_SYSTEM'"
    (the KB methods suggested do not help)

    We are going to go ahead and wait for the next update, or words or wisdom from you all, before we install update 1 again.

    Not sure if this helps or not, but when doing an upgrade to 2021, I have been installing 2021, migrating and converting, then go back and install PU1.  I haven't had any migrating/converting problems but I'm a bit superstitious now and still following that process.

    Do you have any issues re-converting the company data when they are ready to live, with Su1 installed ?

    I did an upgrade last weekend to v2021.1
    SPC... so no option to not install PU1 since the image comes already prepared.  Advanced 2019 source to Standard.  No major issues (after finally being able to copy source data to the SPC machine... that is so awkward).
