Doing payroll upgrade to 2018, v2.19 payroll.  I have done multiple companies that worked fine, but on one I am getting an error 26.
When I look at the conversion log:

The PR_40101.SOA file and the PR_PayrollHistoryTaxReporting table have been opened successfully  (PR_FrameworkConversion.pvc:05592)

09:58:34  The following conversion record failed while converting 101:\02.17.00.00:DATA:PR_ConvertToFramework:000000:000 - Error #26: Variable type invalid

I have rebuilt all files, looked at the data in DFDM, everything looks fine.  Any thoughts before I call Sage?    thanks!

@Diana Laughner You may have already Sage at this point (hope you get escalated to Linda Raby!). Have you followed the steps to identify the record that should be the problem?  Those steps are:
    1. Open Library Master, Utilities, Data File Display and Maintenance and open ..\mas90\MAS_XXX\PRXXX\PR_Employee.M4T where XXX=company
    2. Change Key No. from kPRIMARY to kEMPLOYEE and click Lookup
    3. Make note of last record displayed - this is usually the record unable to convert
    4. Open..\mas90\MAS_XXX\PRXXX\PR1XXX.soa and select record that was noted in PR_Employee.M4T

I've seen several errors while converting Payroll, though most were related to duplicate Employee Numbers.  The error message makes me think that a field has a text/string value in a numeric field.  Perhaps once the record is identified, you could retype the field values for that record in the prior version, then migrate and convert again.

I have not yet confirmed this but think my issue is with a tax table. User had setup a State with a Local code, where Local codes should not exist. I'll be testing this later today and will post results.
