Doing payroll upgrade to 2018, v2.19 payroll.  I have done multiple companies that worked fine, but on one I am getting an error 26.
When I look at the conversion log:

The PR_40101.SOA file and the PR_PayrollHistoryTaxReporting table have been opened successfully  (PR_FrameworkConversion.pvc:05592)

09:58:34  The following conversion record failed while converting 101:\02.17.00.00:DATA:PR_ConvertToFramework:000000:000 - Error #26: Variable type invalid

I have rebuilt all files, looked at the data in DFDM, everything looks fine.  Any thoughts before I call Sage?    thanks!

If i recall this could be a case of duplicate employee numbers in different departments (like 01-0005 and 02-0005) I'd look in the old system for that.

I ran into a duplicate employee # issue recently (v2019.1, 2.19.3), which yielded this error (diff than @Diana Laughner); @Jeremy Fox.  Client had to renumber 92 employees.
