Sage 100

2015 advanced. One user / workstation emails most everything (orders, invoices) using paperless office. Every two weeks or so he gets a ""Printer not activated, error code -30"". I remote in and modify the registry, deleting the jobs and locks folders. It then works fine. It just happened three times in the last two days. Why does this keep happening? What can be done to prevent it?

Is this a windows 10 machine?

Windows 7 Pro, SP1, 64 bit, 8GB Dell Optiplex 9020

We had this going on for one workstation at a client. Sage and I weren't able to figure it out. The user ended up getting a new PC and hasn't had the problem since. Sage had said that the end of the line/no other options resolution may be having windows reinstalled on that PC.

I have had to install new workstations because Sage would not function correctly. Sad but true. These days the cost of doing this is much less expensive than me charging for my time in an effort to fix it.

Just had a client with recurring payroll issues (disappearing files - I wrote about it some time ago). IT, Sage, and we never figured it out. New computer resolved the issues.
