2014 Premium - I set up a bar code label using Crystal reports. The code 39 bar code for the item number doesn't print on the label when there is a ""#"" in the item code. The customer uses the manufacturer part number as the item code and many manufacturer part numbers have a ""#"" in them For example, the bar code for item code ABCDUS#ABA-DLH doesn't print.

The ""#"" is not a supported character in the Code 39 bar code format. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_39

Thanks @BryanStein Do you know what bar code symbology supports it?

Looks like Code 128 would work...

I don't know if the installer for Azalea Code 128 fonts are still under \mas90\Wksetup in v2014 but that's one (free) solution. If you search on Azalea in SocialCast there's several posts on setting it up and the tools in the toolset.

FYI - Different 128 code sets support different character sets - from wikipedia: 128A (Code Set A) ASCII characters 00 to 95 (09, AZ and control codes), special characters, and FNC 14 128B (Code Set B) ASCII characters 32 to 127 (09, AZ, az), special characters, and FNC 14 128C (Code Set C) 0099 (encodes two digits with a single code point) and FNC1 Azalea installers are still included up through 2018 as far as I can tell.

I ran the Azalea installed but don't see the new function ""Azalea_Code_128_A"" in the Crystal reports formula editor. There are several new Azalea programs on my Windows 10 programs menu.

Never Mind - A reboot seemed to load the required functions.
