2013.4 - client would like to see the purchases account displayed on the receipt of goods register. I can create a UDF in Receipt/Invoice Work table, but that gets me the account key. I want the account number. Do I need to pull in the GL_Account table? Or is there another way?

I think you need to pull in the table. You may want to consider doing it as a subreport.
