2013 TTU installs the medicare ""surcharge"". However, a client reports that when the 2013 TTU is reinstalled for processing w-2's, this surcharge still calculates on the quarterly PR reports. I have not verified this yet. Has anyone else seen this?

When you say medicare surcharge do you mean: a. The 2% Employee Fica increate as of 1/1/13 b. The .9% surcharge that the IRD is supposed to compute but only kicks in for certain ""high income"" employees

b. The 2012 quarter reports now a new column with these amounts for the higher income employees. I don't think it is affecting the w-2 printing, but it does freak out the client. Unfortunately, she is trying the Aatrix forms this year and there are several gotchas (re enter all short term disablity amounts and any other changes made to the summary tax fields).
