2013 premium to 2017 premium ""preliminary / test"" upgrade. Client uses Appassure backup software to get a backup every fifteen minutes. They took a complete backup and restored it to a different server (the ""restore"" server).
We started the Sage 100 migration wizard, pointed it to the backup image, and the migration stops. The message displays that services / programs are running. No services or programs are running because we are pointing to the backup image.
My guess is that there is a table in Sage that is read by the migration program that has a record pointing to the live server instance. Is there any way to get the migration to run without shutting down the live server? This company processes data 24 hours a day. Shutting down the live instance of Sage 100 is a last resort.
