1.Can one Web Engine support multiple companies? If so, can you provide details on how that works? 2.If #1 cannot be done, can we run two Web Engines, one pointing to each company? Will this require a second server to run the second Web Engine?

Yes. The web engine only needs to be run once. The user's login info determines which company website they would log into.

This is a client that is currently using E-business manager and they have purchased another company and want to set this new company code up in Sage100 with a different website.

Correct. You can have ABC and XYZ companies set up with their own templates, customers, items, etc. and the login info (which is a system-wide table) will determine which templates and data they use. Both share the same folders on the IIS server so you'll want to be sure each company uses customized templates with unique names unless you want them to look the same. Also, be sure the item image names are unique unless, again, they share items.

One thing to note is that Bill is referring to B2B. B2C is setup by the URL since they are not logged in for the system to determine which company they belong to. Other things to note that Bill referred to that you might not have realized. The Email address MUST BE UNIQUE by company. This can be an issue if the other company has the same customers. The customer would have to have two different email addresses to log into each company.

Thanks Bill, I didn't realize the USER ID table was system wide, but that makes sense now.

This is a B2B only customer, but that is good to know
