  • 1.  1099 printing goes straight to "do you want to increment the 1099 year..."

    Sage 2018 PU10
    1099 Tax Form Printing.
    After selecting 1099 Non Employee Comp, select year 2020, set limits to 600 and click OK
    Then immediately the dialog "Do you want to increment the 1099 year..." pops up. No questions, no data to review, no forms to print - nothing.
    Yes, there are data for year 2020, had to manually change some vendors from Misc to NEC and ran a quickie crystal report I use to verify.
    Any Ideas?

    Does the Aatrix wizard not start after clicking either "Yes" or "No"?  Normally this pops-up and the process continues.

    I have seen the question to change the year pop up but I always say no and then Aatrix continues.

    Figured it out. A dialog was hiding behind another app that we didn't see. Weird that there was no Taskbar Icon showing it. And weird that starting a second instance did not raise the dialog an instance is already running.

    Sage doesn't know what occurs in Aatrix.  It sees that you triggered 1099 reporting and asks the question... every time.  If you go back immediately after finishing 1099 reporting, it will ask again.  Sadly, we have to just keep selecting "No" (and encouraging clients to be careful with it).

    That's normal.  Does the Aatrix year on the right side of the screen say 2020?  If so, then the answer is no.  If it reads 2019 or earlier, then the answer is yes.

    It is very annoying because it never stops popping up even if you're in the correct 1099 year.  I'm not sure if it also changes Sage's 1099 year in AP options, but I think it might.
