  • 1.  1099 Issue

    Both clients who tried to efile 1099s getting this error this morning.  They had no errors listed as they walked through the data checks.  Thinking Aatrix is having a bad week?  Has anyone successfully efiled 1099s this morning?  (This was Misc and NEC both)

    I just ran into this, too! My issue is with the PA state 1099 form.  No data is populating even though I have elected to file with PA and all of the appropriate info (tax ID, Filing State, etc.) has been entered. I manually downloaded the update from Aatrix just to make sure the client had the latest update installed but that didn't resolve the issue. This happened for NEC and MISC forms. I had the client open a case directly with Aatrix.

    Updated to add that I did process 1099s successfully on Tuesday for a different PA client without any issues.  They are on a different version of Sage than the client from today.  What version of Sage is your client running?

    Good - please let me know what your client finds out, because neither of my clients are capable of handling a support call with Aatrix. :-(

    I got the same message helping a client with efiling 1099's around lunch.  As Dawn mentioned, this appears to be an issue with the state 1099, in our case WI.  They show no info on the state copy (even though it does not get printed) and the state 1096 shows 0 forms.

    I received this reply from Aatrix support.

    This error is going to be fixed in an Automatic Update that we are pushing out tonight. If you are able to wait until tomorrow, you can open the forms then and shouldn't have that error anymore.
