100c Upgrade Communications We just took back a customer we previously supported, and they said Sage told them that if they upgraded to 100c and did not renew/pay their subscription fees, they would no longer have access to their database. They chose to remain on Sage 100. That's just messed up.

Watch Sage PLC as they continue on their journey to kill the goose that laid the golden egg...

I think Sage is suffering from a major training failure in the move from CA to GA

Isn't this the point of Subscriptions? To provide a mechanism if they go off plan they no longer can access the data? Most MD's already require a renewal to continue using their enhancements.

Per EULA for Sage 100 2016 both subscription and perpetual are subject to suspension if maintenance isn't paid.

@MoiraGoggin is absolutely correct, and that version of the EULA pertains to any version of the software, including those on 3.50 or 3.71 or 4.05 not on maintenance. It would not be worth Sage's time or expense, but they could legally go after all those users. An interesting comment from the BPAC meeting, I believe it may have been Connie Certusi, was that there are a number of companies who are not paying to use the software. I fully support whatever Sage needs to do to stop that, because we lose also.
