100c Subscription Increases The first customer has notified us regarding receipt of a notice today from Sage of ""Price changes for your Sage 100c subscription"". It is effective September 1, 2017, and states ""your new product subscription will be adjusted as follows: Up to 10% increase to Sage 100c subscription."" This happens to be a monthly payment plan, but the annual anniversary occurs in September. The customer seemed to think that being on Sage 100 maintenance, the amount was locked in, which is correct, but it did increase from year to year. Selective memory.

Is this an SLP subscription adjustment or is this notification that any migration credit is going away? If it's SLP shouldn't we have new price lists very soon?

It's not the migration credit, but also not really SLP. When they did the migrations, Sage was matching the previous Sage 100 maintenance, and in some cases there were negotiated amounts. Because of this, the SLP does not match what they paid and what +10% would equal, so I doubt this implies a standard price increase, which is only for new customers or module/user additions. I told customers who upgraded that although the Subscription Order form stated at the end what the estimated renewal would be, they needed to note that it also stated in small print ""prices are subject to change."" I'm sure many did not read that and will forget, so we will have customers calling from now until the end of the year about this.

Do you think this is just a formality? Sage already seems to have hit 100c users w/credits with an increase. Truthfully though I would have no idea if maybe last year they sent out the same notice. Sage 100c price list upgrade recently in mysagesell but only to add Scanforce/DSD to the pricing. There wasn't any SLP changes that I saw.

Based on my working relationship with Sales Operations in Atlanta, I would be surprised if they had any formal procedures on any of this.
