100 premium v5.3 - Just installed Starship v16.3. End user wishes to import all of the Sage vendor names a nd addresses to Starship. They frequently ship products for outside processing to vendors. the Starship database resides in the same instance of SQL as the Sage 100 DB. I am trying to find the best method to import the vendor data and to frequently sync / refresh the Starship database with an updated copy of the Sage vendors. Does Starship have a utility to import names and addresses? Can this utility be automated to run unattended once a day? Is there a file layout or other information available to aid in setting up an import? Would it be better to use SSIS to import the vendor names and addresses? Would it be better to create a SQL trigger to populate the Starship DB when there is a change to the Sage vendor table? All comments are appreciated (even those offered by @JeffSchwenk ).

Sorry, couldn't stay quiet. I have no clue but what is vendor using to trigger the shipment to the vendor? PO?? Is there a way to map the PO header address fields to Starship? You can do this in UPS Worldship. So you create a mapping and use the PO number as the index trigger. Just have to ensure that purchasing has the correct vendor address...
