100 premium v5.1 to v5.4 migration wizard. Keep getting The migration wizard has detected a process currently running in the source Sage 100 ERP installation. Stopped everything I could think of: Services, Knowledgesync, Biznet, ScanForce, All open sessions in Computer management, All related Sage process in task manager. Any ideas what to try next?

Can you reboot the server? Had a client that had another program (on a different server) reading from the SQL database, caused this message to prompt.

Maybe renaming the install.log file under the Home folder will work.

I used to do it back in the day but have gotten out of the habit but perhaps I will put back on the check list is rebooting the server just prior to installing a new version of Sage. It just seems to clean the cobb webs....

You can also go to the server manager and look for any open files in the MAS90 folder and manually close them.

Thanks everyone. Was first getting open files on the source, then on the target. Ended up setting all of the services to manual, then rebooting both the source and destination servers. Got the migration to start then the target hard drive ran out of space. What a PITA. Had IT allocate more hard drive. I am going g to uninstall and try again tomorrow. Happy New Year everyone.

Yes. Still toiling away. Lots of integration issues. Scanforce, DSD Multi-bin (new), IIG Landed Cost, Alerts & Workflows, BizNet.

As a last resort, if none of that had worked, I had to rename pvxwin32 in the destination home folder once.

Throwing this out there because I just ran into it - extra files in the home/lib/keys folder.
