<rant> I love Karaoke as much as the next person - but please for the annual Sage Summit can we start bringing in some bands that are semi-known? Maybe once people are completely shit faced it doesn't matter who is singing but having the partners and staff provide their own entertainment seems cheezy. Sage doesn't ask customers to get up and sing to entertain themselves or each other. Why do they ask partners to? Yeah yeah -- I know it's because so many partners enjoy watching partners perform. </rant>

Is it really that bad? What are the teetotalers in the group going to do?

If you like loud events where you can't hear yourself think (am I old???), than it might be fun. Frankly, that is the night I go out and eat somewhere.

Maybe we should look into a bus to take us into Music City.

The Hampton Inn shuttle would probably take you downtown. Although if you're looking for dinner spots, I'd check out The Gulch or Midtown sections of Nashville.

@JohnShaver, since the party is in your back yard this year, is the lovely Amy going to be the hostess with the mostest?

Well, there's no doubt that I am that and much, much more, but alas school starts August 13 so I have to miss Summit in the name of education!

I thought you already had your 8th grade certificate. Are you working on your high school diploma now? You go girl!!!!! Don't let Brian Buck's ""VB girl"" find out there are opportunities in the big world. BTW, are you sending a week's supply of ""unmentionables"" with John?

Yes, I start third grade that Monday! That's why I'm so good at troubleshooting MAS technical issues.

Wayne, after taking it all in last night I hope you see it for what it was. A cost cutting move.
